The Keep Cincinnati Beautiful
Organization, the Mt. Washington community, Mt.
Washington School, and the Cincinnati Recreation
Commission all participated in the Great
American Cleanup on Saturday, April 26. On this
day volunteers from communities all over America
put on old clothes and spend a few hours out in
their neighborhoods picking up litter and trash.
All the Mt. Washington volunteers met in the
parking lot across Campus Ln from the Library at
8:00 a.m. for bags, gloves and t-shirts. Then
they scattered to the cleanup sites at Mt.
Washington School, the Recreation Center and
Stanbery Park. By quitting time at noon, they
had picked of a lot of trash. Students, parents
and teachers at Mt. Washington School
