A Baby Shower for Deb

On Tuesday, November 17 after
school, we had a baby shower for our Principal,
Debra Klein. The Social Committee and other
volunteers contributed food, drink and
decorations, and we all enjoyed watching the
opening of gifts. We wish Deb and her husband
Chris all the best through all the new challenges
they will face with a tiny new person in the
house.

Open House 2009

Open house this year took place at
our new, temporary Hyde Park location at the
corner of Edwards and Observatory Roads on August
17, 2009. Parents and children came in droves to
explore the building, meet the teachers and find
the students’ classrooms. Cars filled the entire
schoolyard. There were snacks and drinks across
from the Principal’s office and plenty of time
between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. to locate all the rooms
on all the floors of the building. The pictures
show some of the crowd that came.
