The Reading Zone From the Internet Public Library. Stories to read on the Web. The Reading Zone is a little like the fiction section at a public library. You can find links to on-line stories and also learn more about your favorite books and authors.

Children's Stories. Fairy Tales, Nursery Rhymes, Interactive Stories, and Holiday Tales.
The Velveteen Rabbit. This site has the story with many pictures.

Online Children's Classics. For all ages

Fairytales from Farmhouse Fables, by Jan Luthman. Illustrated stories you can read online. There are 2 versions of each story. One for young children; the other for older ones.

"Tellitagan" Stories. Illustrated multimedia stories are read aloud. "Goldilocks", "The Boy Who Cried Wolf", and other stories that are beautifully presented online.
