Kindergarten Supply List

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your son/daughter to our school. We hope that your child will have a productive year in Kindergarten. Below are listed supplies that are necessary for each child entering our program. Our program is a busy one and includes many different learning experiences and activities during which we will utilize these supplies to create to our fullest.

Necessary supply items that will be placed in classroom "community supply closet". These items do not need child's name written on them
  • 3 boxes of CRAYOLA crayons - 8 count, basic colors - no neons (two boxes regular size, 1 box large size, not jumbo.*
  • 10 Large Elmer's glue sticks.*
  • 1 pkg lunch size brown bags
  • 1 pair of Fiskars child-size scissors.
  • 1 box Ziploc GALLON size plastic bags.
  • 1 box Ziploc sandwich bags.
  • 1 box CRAYOLA washable markers.
  • 1 pkg. 12 in. paper plates.
  • 2 rolls paper towels
  • 4 large pink erasers
  • 2 boxes facial tissues.
  • 1 box liquid hand soap or hand sanitizer
  • 4 fat, beginner pencils with erasers

* (The starred items may need to be replenished several times during the year.)

The items below are for your child alone - PRINT YOUR CHILD'S NAME AND ROOM NUMBER ON THEM.

  • 1 plastic supply box (8" X 5") NONE LARGER.
  • A sturdy book bag/backpack.

Suggested items to donate for special projects:

  • 1 pkg. Styrofoam cups - 8 oz. size.
  • 2 pkgs. 8 1/2 X 11 assorted construction paper.
  • 1 pkg. cotton balls
  • 1 pkg. 6 in. paper plates

NOTE: It is important that "necessary items" be purchased specifically as requested. Baskets will be placed on tables in the classroom with supplies to be used by the children. Since the students may be requested to change classrooms for certain instruction during the day, we are trying to have supplies sent that will be consisten across all the Kindergarten classrooms.
